I have not had the chance to read Summer although I shall put it higher on the list of classics that I will get to when tie allows.  What other Wharton books might you suggest that are more obscure? If you enjoyed thi...</title><content type='html'>Wharton is my favorite author.  If you enjoyed this novel, I reccomend to you Ethan Frome.  It is my of her writings.  Full of tragedy, which Wharton seems to place ease upon.  Also, if you find you enjoy Ethan Frome, &amp;quot;Summer&amp;quot; is the so called &amp;#39;hot version&amp;#39; of Ethan Frome.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I found Madame de Treymes to be a lot denser than her other stories, but overall loved the piece.
